Director of Marketing, Human Resources and Head of Sustainability of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE)

Manuel Parga holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and an international MBA. He also completed the Programme for General Management by the IESE Business School, is certified in “Dialogical Coaching” and has a Master’s in Sport Institutions Management.

Manuel Parga worked in finances for over 20 years, being especially involved in the international management of Santander Bank in Spain, Japan, France and Italy. He was also an innovation consultant for sustainable business models and intelligent cities in Latin America.

In 2011 he joined the Spanish Olympic Committee as CFO of the application to the Olympic Games 2020. He was a member of the Executive Board from 2014 to 2017 and has, since then, been the head of Marketing, Human Resources and Sustainability. Manuel is also an ambassador for the European Climate Pact.
