Dr Hong completed her PhD on athletes’ career transitions with a focus on dual career development. She has since built a strong interdisciplinary profile, publishing in both sport management and psychology. Her research examines how athletes and esports players manage dual careers, transitions, and life beyond sport. As a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), she offers applied expertise in dual career support and athlete development.
