Dr. Alina GHERGHISAN
Dr. Alina Gherghisan works as a full-time sport psychologist. She is employed at the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee. In this role, she provides vital support to elite and youth athletes. Additionally, she supervises and coordinates other sport psychologists. She also organizes forums and educational programs. These are for athletes and their coaches. She further offers individual and group counseling. This crucial psychological help allows them to perform at their peak.
Her career in the field is long and distinguished. For twelve years, for instance, she was a research scientist. This work was at the National Institute for Sport Research in Bucharest. Currently, she also lectures at the National School for Coaches. Here she teaches both Sport Psychology and Sport Pedagogy.
